The title is derived from the three movement titles of Alberti Bassooni, Calmly Descending, and Energizing Fagotti. Stephen Richards always writes witty and entertaining compositions and this bassoon trio is no exception. Movements are basically fast, slow, fast, with a rollicking 7/8 3rd movement. Suitable for college level (or very talented high school trio) and professional ensembles.
