In this arrangement by Trevor Cramer, the bassoonist in the quintet takes the part of the solo bassoon from the original for bassoon and orchestra. 

This piece is alternately known as "The Grouchy Old Bear", "The Old Grumbler", or "Der Alte Brumbar".
