Clifford Julstrom was chair of the music dept at Western Illinois University from 1949-1969 and was mentored as a composer by Bernard Rogers and Howard Hanson. Douglas Huff, editor, was a good friend of Clifford Julstrom and is currently an associate prof of music at WIU.
