Chorale Duets from the 18th Century
for oboe (or violin, flute, or trumpet) and organ
Edited by Tamas Zaszkaliczky

This present edition contains 16 chorale arrangements from the German organ literature of the 18th century in which, in addition to the organ, a wind instrument was also employed. Its role in the piece was to play the cantus firmus. These kind of chorale arrangements were, however, rather rare in the musical practice of the time.
