Shakespeare Sketchbook - OB/PN

Shakespeare Sketchbook
for oboe and piano
by John Rutter (b.1945) - British composer, conductor, and arranger

A Shakespeare Sketchbook was written in memory of Timothy Watts, sub-principal oboe in the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for over twenty years. Harp and strings provide the backdrop to characterful oboe writing, from the vivacious Ariel to the mellifluous melodies representing Silvius the shepherd.
