Eb Milonga (Score & Parts)-WW4/STG5

This is a light-hearted piece, influence primarily by Argentinian and Latin-American music, but also containing some elements of Cole Porter and Stravinsky. It is based loosely on a fundamental ternary structure, the two principal themes recurring in the wind and strings before winding down and becoming subsumed into the overall texture. The block chords in the strings are designed to be dark and full in sound.
