This is a "Music Theater Piece" for oboist/narrator, actress/dancer, and harp. The actress/dancer may be different artists. The actress may ad lib off the oboist's spoken part if a separate dancer is used. The text is by the composer, based on the Anglo-Saxon Rune Alphabet (the Futhorc) and elements from The Husband's Tale and The Wife's Lament (sometimes known as The Exile's Lament).
