Max Lenz was born Feb. 28, 1887 in Frankfurt, Germany. He was a bassoon player and composer, and conveyed humor in his music, writing numerous short novelty and salon-type solos, accompanied by keyboard, salon orchestra, full orchestra, and military band.   His music was accepted by the Third Reich (although he was not considered a Nazi collaborator) and confiscated by the US Military.  There is no date of death, but we are pretty sure he is no longer with us.
