If hearing something "go bump in the night" is scary, try listening to eight bassoons! In the past I have written pieces for two, or even four bassoons. In this brief, fun piece, the 7th and 8th bassoon parts are occasionally cued in the other parts, making performance possible with only the top six instruments. Composed in 2014.
