Oblivion
for woodwind quintet: flute, oboe, clarinet, horn and bassoon
by Astor Piazzolla (1921-1992) - Argentinian tango composer

Arranged by Jeff Scott.

Oblivion is possibly Piazzolla's most famous piece, and has been transcribed for numerous ensembles and was used in the film score to Pirandello's 1984 movie, "Henry IV. Based on the early predecessor to the tango from Argentina and Uruguay, this haunting and seductive milonga shows off the slow and sultry side of tango.
