for woodwind quintet

The shifting tonal centers of this work give it the feel of a search, in this case, for a resting place. It is not a restless or harried search. Instead, its solidly tonal melodies take us on a leisurely excursion, looking at wild flowers, wispy clouds, and green meadows until we find the perfect spot for repose.
