Born to be a Bassoonist - To be a bassoonist is a vocation, there is no other way to say this. The bassoonist is introduced with a short motif in the third measure and off he goes, partly good-tempered, partly angry, broody or pensive. The end of this trio is filled with cheerfulness again and expresses the pleasure the bassoonists experience on the way. Dedicated to Bodo Koenigsbeck. 
This work is appropriate for the intermediate bassoon trio.
