Lyric Piece & Dance-OB/PN

Lyric Piece & Dance was composed for the student oboist and is listed in the New York State School Music Association Manuel of Recommended Solo and Ensemble Music. The Lyric piece is in ABA form. The center section alternates phrases between the oboe and piano. The Dance alternates measures of common time and triple meter. It is also in an ABA form with the outer sections being staccato and the middle section being legato.
