Six Cameos - SOLO BSN

Written in 2009 for Amy Marinello, Professor of Bassoon at the University of Georgia. A cameo is a small sculpture with a profiled head in relief, and it is often found on a medallion. In literature it refers to a brief piece that brings into delicate, or sharp, relief that character of a person, place, or thing. These musical cameos reflect the character of six different people.
