This edition includes one solo oboe part, a fully realized keyboard continuo part, as well as a separate basso part, playable on any bass clef instrument such as cello or bassoon. The five-movement Sonata in g minor was taken from Part III of Telemann's Tafelmusik. Ever since the publication of Volume 61/62 (1927) of the Denkmäler Deutscher Tonkunst, the work has belonged to the core stocks of Baroque oboe literature. The present arrangement is based on this publication.
