Four Duets BWV802-805 (Score & Parts)-CL/BSN

Composer: Bach, JS

Publisher: Accolade (Germany)

Edition: R009

$24.00

Four Duets BWV 802-805
for clarinet and bassoon
by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750)- German Baroque composer
I. Duetto I BWV 802
II. Duetto II BWV 803
III. Duetto III BWV 804
IV. Duetto IV BWV 805
Arranged by Mordechai Rechtman. Bach wrote these duets for the organ in 1739 and situated them at the end of the third book of his Clavieruebung. However, these duets have no intrinsic connection to the organ technique as they have no pedal part. Hence, they can be played on any keyboard instruments or with two melodic instruments. We know that Bach himself did not always indicate the instruments for which the piece was meant, and did not reject transferring a piece from one instrument to another.
