Per the notes from the publisher, the Sextet reference is really to the parts for Flute, Bassoon OR Horn, Violin, 2 Viola, and Cello (with bass ad lib). Even though the score shows separate bassoon and horn parts and separate parts are provided for each, it is really for one or the other.
