for clarinet in A, horn in D, and bassoon
by Florian Leopold Gassmann (1729-1774) - German/Bohemian composer and harpist Edited by Kurt Janetzky. The advent of the ade of the Viennese Classics is already strongly noticeable in this Trio. There are still, however, firm connections with the idiom of practical folk music, and it may be described as a very early piece of this particular combination of clarinet, horn, and bassoon. In later year, this work was popular with itinerant musicians, and it remained so well through the Romantic Era.
