ABOUT THE ARRANGERS

Double reed duo Kathleen and Conor Bell are active educators and performers who currently teach at West Texas A&M University. Both serve as principal orchestral players (Lubbock and Amarillo Symphonies) and are passionate chamber musicians, regularly performing together as part of the Elicio Winds and Æther Reed Quintet. They are dedicated to expanding the oboe and bassoon repertories through collaborations with composers and creating arrangements of existing works. Both Kathleen and Conor attended Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music for their MM and DM degrees and have since lived and taught in Alabama, Tennessee, and Texas.
