This is a wonderful arrangement by Ken Watson of the Sinfonia No.10 from Bach's Christmas Oratorio. It is scored for a Concertino quartet of 2 Oboes d'amore and 2 English Horns (alt. Oboe parts are provided in lieu of Oboe d'amore, if needed), and a Ripieno DR Choir of 4 Oboes, 2 English Horns, 3 Bassoons, and Contrabassoon. All Ripieno parts can be doubled and the arranger encourages this. Minimum performance instrumentation for the Ripieno orchestra is 2-1-1-0.
